Your Body:
Ok so we have all seen the movie and tried to re-enact the fight scenes, now comes the ultimate 300 workout. This fitness workout combines an array of total body workouts to exercise all your muscles to their max. It's basically a killer fitness circuit. The 300 workout can be done in the gym or the privacy of your own home, without other gym members witnessing your pain.
25 pull-ups
50 deadlifts at 135 pounds
50 push-ups
50 box jumps with a 24-inch box
50 "floor wipers" (a core and shoulders exercise at 135 pounds)
50 "clean and press" at 36 pounds (a weight-lifting exercise)
25 pull-ups
Each exercise is performed in sequence without rest. The basis of the complete exercise is based on time.
A guide to workout beginners and newcomers to the 300 workout, recommendations are to start slow and gain the correct technique for each exercise. Although time is measure for the completion of the workout the main benefits will come from the maintenance of correct form through the exercises. If you’re not sure about any of the exercise, why not go through them with a personal trainer at your local gym or fitness centre.
Always get help and advice when doing workouts for the first time.
It's useful to have a workout partner or personal trainer available to help during the workout and also to push you
that little bit further. If you wanted to slightly modify the 300 workout to suit your needs why not,
for example, instead of the floor wipers do 'the plank' abs exercise or include the 'V-up' abs exercise,
obviously the gains will be slightly different, but still a workout to burn those calories.
